Canyon Creek Construction is built on a foundation of craftsmanship, integrity, and a genuine commitment to helping homeowners bring their vision to life.
Owned and led by Rick Maurer, the company reflects a lifetime spent in the construction industry. Rick began his career as an electrician and worked his way through nearly every facet of construction, eventually serving as a Vice President of Purchasing & Architecture for a large PA based builder. His leadership experience extends beyond the jobsite as well, he has proudly served within the Home Builders Association (HBA) as a Board of Directors member and on the Executive Board as Treasurer and Vice President.
With this depth of hands-on experience and industry leadership, Canyon Creek Construction approaches every project with precision, transparency, and a focus on lasting quality. We believe in building strong relationships just as much as we believe in building exceptional homes, providing clear communication, dependable service, and a personalized experience from start to finish.

Rick and the team at Canyon Creek Construction have done outstanding work for us on multiple projects, and we couldn’t be happier. He’s built out a custom shiplap wall, transformed a room into a fully functional streaming/gaming office, divided our townhouse basement into two distinct, usable spaces, and installed brand new LVP flooring throughout our main living area.
What stands out most is the consistency — every project has been done with the same level of craftsmanship, attention to detail, and reliability. Rick communicates clearly, shows up when he says he will, and takes the time to understand exactly what we’re going for before starting. The basement conversion in particular required some creative problem-solving to make two separate spaces feel intentional rather than cramped, and he nailed it.
We keep coming back to Canyon Creek Construction because we trust the quality of the work and know it’ll be done right the first time. Highly recommend Rick for anything from small accent projects to full room transformations.
Working with Rick and the group from beginning to end was amazing. We were new to what is needed/required for building our location out, and they worked with us patiently each step of the way. I cannnot say enough nice things about Rick and the crew.
